It is my humble opinion, that we are embarking on exciting and challenging careers in the information science and librarianship fields. Whether we choose to work in an academic, public or school library. Or even in the technology field, we will all be sharing and disseminating information.Every day we all share information. We read websites, talk with co-workers, family and friends, watch the news. Information changes hands so quickly and rather efficiently, that if we need an answer to a question, we can easily find it. (This can also lead to more problems, but I'll go into that more later.)
This blog will serve as a cursory look at how information is disseminated. I think this is an exciting and ever changing topic, that deserves a lot of attention. I know this blog will only serve as a very basic starting point, but I'm excited and look forward to sharing my insight with you.
